Dear Friend: This coming Memorial Day (May 27th), The American Legion USS Tampa Post 5 and American Legion Cemetery, Inc. will again hold our annual tribute to all veterans (past and present) as we have since 1922. The commemoration has grown dramatically over the years from a small gathering of post members and family to an event attended by hundreds of Legionnaires and other veterans, as well as community leaders and patriotic individuals.  As this growth has occurred, we have attempted to make things run as efficiently as possible.  Some of the challenges include parking, individuals or groups with special needs, and media accommodations. Due to the public's increased display of patriotism and support of the military since the tragic events of September 11th, we anticipate record crowds.  To help us better meet your needs and ensure you receive proper recognition, we are asking organizations and individuals to complete the electronic form.  Please send it by May 10, 2002.
